Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is in Kuwait at the invitation of the President of the Center for Dialogue among Civilizations Sheikh Fahad Al Salem Al Ali Al Sabah.

The former President is due to attend a workshop on “Renewing Dialogue for Peace; Advancing Freedom and Human Rights in today’s world”.

The three day Forum organized by the Center for Dialogue among Civilization is scheduled end on 23rd May.

The conference will focus on advising the Fahad Al Salem Center’s initiative to operate a new international satellite TV channel dedicated to build bridges between civilizations.
