A man in Canada who showed symptoms similar to Ebola after traveling to Liberia tested negative for the virus, the World Health Organization said.
A further confirmation of the man’s health will come from Canadian authorities, the WHO said in an e-mailed statement today.
The Geneva-based United Nations agency said it’s helping with the deployment of two laboratories in Africa to deal with the outbreak, and is sending two logisticians, three epidemiologists and one medical anthropologist.
