Sheikh Fahad Al-Ali left the country to go to New York in the USA to open the Fahad Al-Salam center for the dialogue of cultures and the defense of freedoms.
The Fahad Al-Salam center for the dialogue of cultures and the defense of freedoms, head by Sheikh Fahad Al-Salam Al-Ali Al-Sabah was founded in New York, USA in 2010. Its offices are in the Empire State building, and it is a UN-registered organization in which several elite international personalities take part in endorsing the dialogue of cultures and religions through the discussion of international and humanitarian challenges and suggesting practical approaches that enable the implementation of the Fahad Al-Salam’s center views, in service to peace and the prosperity of humanity.
The Center’s goals include:
First: Taking the initiative to make balanced, worldwide changes in service to world peace and its stability.
Second: Defending public freedom and ensuring ways to preserve and protect them.
Third: Ensuring equality and equity when it comes to rights and duties.
Fourth: Suggesting initiatives for the dialogue between religions and encouraging religious tolerance as well as the principle of freedom of worship, for everyone.

Sixth: Discussing the obstacles and initiatives for social amalgamation for minorities and eliminating xenophobia.
Seventh: Allowing open discussions for fundamentalist religious groups, extremism and racism, their effects and the efficient solutions for them.
Eighth: Encouraging the elimination of violence and opposing extremism in its intellectual form as well as discussing and attempting to convince and persuade others about it.
